Álvaro Luengo is the chef at Jules. Before coming to Valeriusplein, he worked at RIJKS, WILS and Flore. He brings that experience to the kitchen at Jules in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid.
At Jules, Álvaro draws inspiration from flavours and techniques from around the world. Seasonal ingredients form the foundation, while fermentation, spices and smoke give the cooking its distinctive character. The menu changes with the seasons; our current menu shows what is coming out of the kitchen now.
Join us for lunch during the day or settle in for dinner in the evening. Come with friends, with family or just the two of you. Start with an aperitif, take your time over the menu and stay for another glass of wine at the table or the bar.
You will find us on the corner of Valeriusplein, close to Vondelpark. When the weather is good, you can take a seat on the terrace too.
